    Oops, it's actually $2.9 million...

Check out some of these highlights:

"In addition to a single-level home built in 1997, the 4-acre property boasts plenty of other amenities. There’s a sports court, swimming pool, spa, horse corral, tack room and riding arena with direct access to trails. A great room lined with hardwood anchors the main home, connecting a dining area to a step-down lounge with picture windows and a fireplace. [...] Six bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms are spread across 5,635 square feet, including a detached guesthouse at the other end of the property. Vaulted ceilings and a fireplace touch up the master suite. Other highlights include turf lawns, landscaping, two outdoor showers and a three-car garage."

    Not too shabby!!!

Thanks for that link, ETG. Pretty nice, crib, I'd say!

    Wow! That's pretty nice!

The circular bedroom was different and why you would want a patio in the middle of your corrall, I can't imagine!

Somehow I can't see Joe riding horses, but who knows?!

I didn't know he was into horses, either, but he must have been pretty hardcore if he had an estate like this. Maybe it was an interest of one of his wives?

I did a double take about the horse stables and farm too. It sure is a beautiful house though. That is not a bad price by California standards.

I don't know - Joe has mellowed so much in the last 25 year or so that I can maybe picture him chilling at a horse ranch. He has a lot of 'zen' in him these days.

Joe, Timothy, Vince visited Hoani Waititi Marae in New Zealand last week(I have no idea what it is).

I was just thinking probably around this time, Joe got that call that changed his life. 25 years of sobriety (never fell off the wagon) is amazing.

There are two videos to watch.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley
