Wasn't sure where to put this and figured here's as good as anywhere. Listening to Sirius Radio Classic Rewind and Meg Griffin is the DJ right now. She played a Steve Winwood song and then told a story about "several years ago", being at the Ritz and hanging out with Steve Winwood and Joe Walsh. Said Steve wasn't much of a drinker but none of them were feeling any pain that night. Now she's playing Life's Been Good. I'm thinking about the Survivor game.

"Icon"? What's this? Another greatest hits package? Love that cover photo of Joe!

I wonder if ICON is going to remaster releases? Doesn't sound like they will be re-releasing prior albums (like the hard to find Barnstorm).

It does sound like a "package" of old releases...i.e. "Greatest Hits" thingie.

I will be sure to get this whenever it comes out!

It does indeed look like a greatest hits package.

Thanks EF. As far as that article goes, my first impression was "Wow - to only be known to some as the clown prince of rock, Joe sure does know a lot about guitars".

And as far as that Talk Box article, I totally agree with you Austin - Rocky Mountain Way should have been way higher than some of the other songs on that list. And where in the crap is Peter Frampton's Show Me the Way! That's why I think most of the "best of" type lists like this are so lame.
