I hope so too! The only time I've seen the Eagles live, it was the longer show, and it was fantastic.

Wonder how many groups have similar stories from over the years.....

"Joe listened to us to make sure he wanted to sit in and then he nodded and I handed him my guitar and we did Johnny B. Goode," McComb said. "He took the first lead and slayed it and I nodded again and he took another lead." By
the time the song finished, Walsh had taken four leads. "With each one, he'd play different styles," McComb remembered. "One would be played in his style, the other would be in Eric Clapton's style and so on. The house went nuts."
    Imagine that.....

Just watched the Joe CMT show with Brad Paisley. It ROCKED! They did a medley of Life's Been Good (my fav Joe tune) with Brad's new "Camoflauge". It rocked and IMHO Joe friggin' ripped and won that duel. Brad's solo was great too but Joe was great. I wouldn't expect anything less from the best guitar player of all time. Hope it's on YouTube soon so I can nab it!

Also, Joe is playing Gibson guitars again and Dr. Z amps and the guitar tone on Life's Been Good (and the Camo song for that matter) was droolworthy. Damn I need to get some Z's!
ETA: Here is the video. I've watched it like 5 times. Brad and Joe need to do a CMT Crossroads special together where they play each others tunes. I'd go nuts to see that. I love Brad's music and playing. I'm so weird because I hate Country but love Brad Paisley and Keith Urban.

I loved it too! I thought Joe looked pretty snazzy in his sequined jacket. Quite the contrast with Brad's camo! lol

I kinda wondered why they did LBG. It was, after all, a tribute to Brad, not Joe. But anyway, it was great!

I loved having Life's Been Good in there. I know it's Brad's award but having a special guest like Joe I'm sure Brad wanted Joe to really play and sing some too and not just be a background guy just strumming along and sing backup on the choruses.

I LOVED the medley. Life's Been Good is my favorite Joe Walsh tune and I never tire of it. That intro riff has to be the best electric riff ever created. As soon as I heard that intro riff when I was watching it on TV I actually yelled "YES!!!!!". That song is a classic.
