It's a wonderful read AG95. Joe confirms, early Barnstorm classic, Mother Says in the set list. You can't beat some crash cymbals and timpani to add some drama to a gig!

After playing the same dozen or so songs, with a few sundries thrown in, since the early 70s, it's a real thrill to see Joe working on a new eclectic track list. Not to mention, promise of a new album and the ultimate promised land, the possibility of some solo UK showsin 2016.

I got to see Joe live, in the early 1990s, when he was at his lowest ebb. Since then his rise and rise and rise has been a wonderful journey. His upcoming tour, starting in acouple of days, looks like being, yet a new high point. I can't wait to hear all about it.

Agreed, F50. I only had a chance to skim the article yesterday, so I couldn't post much about it, but I knew that it was a very good article.

More press promoting his, afaik nameless tour. Always, at least a little something interesting to read/hear.

Well, that track listing will expose the youngsters who watch the show or read Marvel Comic books to 70s music for sure. And to Joe's as well, which are the best songs on there, minus Boys are Back in Town, imo. I can't believe that Shake Your Groove Thing is on there.

I'm loving this new articles. Always nice to start out the day with a smile and a few laughs.

I dunno. I sense a bit of deep rooted friction here. Seems that a former member of Joe's early band, The Measles (who's all up for a reunion, of course ) turned up at Joe's, meet and greet.

Blast from the past! Original banner from my first band The Measles, our bass player & Joe Shannon, the club owner that gave us our first break.

I wonder why Joe didn't name the guy. He took centre stage nicely.

    The Measles
    Joe Walsh - Vocals, Guitar
    Larry Lewis - Vocal, Guitar
    Bobby Sepulveda - Vocals, Bass
    Buddy Bennett - Drums
