It was interesting. The quote about Glenn at the end of Life In the Fast Lane was touching.

I didn't know the story behind Joe getting that small part at the end of the Blues Brothers movie. Very interesting. I wouldn't say he caused a riot since nobody was fighting. Heck. The guards were enjoying themselves too. LOL

I was happy to read that Joe is planning to include a nightly tribute to Glenn in his concerts.

I figured he would tell the interviewer before hand not to bring up Glenn. I said in another thread that Don and Joe will probably tell the interviewers ahead of time to not bring up Glenn just yet. That explains why we haven't heard anything. Its understandable and I respect his wishes. I actually behind him to not say anything about Glenn just yet.

That was a great article. I've heard stories fans who had their favorites on their wall later in life and end up marrying them. Joe probably had never known so many years later Ringo would be his brother-in-law. I'm just glad Joe is happy in his life.

I'm glad Joe is paying tribute to Glenn in his show every night. This is probably the only way to coping with Glenn's death. I'm so looking forward to seeing Joe in August.

Oooh! You've just reminded me. Listening to Joe+Ringo's "Fill in the Blanks" right now.

I have to say I think it's pretty sad that one of the 15 songs is ILBTs.

I think ILBT's is an embarrassment as a song but the story of it's conception as a way of exposing the inadequacy of his record company is pure genius.

I like that song, lol. And I'm glad he still plays it live - if you watch the videos the audience loves it and I think it's a fun upbeat song compared to deeper lyrical more serious tunes. I tend to prefer the former (which is probably why I like modern country music, lol).

I also love that story about his record company. Hilarious.

I'm ALWAYS disappointed to see ILBT's in the set list. Sexist nonsense that Joe wrote to see if the record company was even paying attention to him. They weren't.

Joe will be on The Voice tomorrow night playing Rocky Mountain Way with one of the remaining contestants.
