Unfortunately, I did not get to use my backstage passes Saturday night at the Izod Arena...because despite my best attempts, neither I nor my client were able to obtain any actual tickets to the concert. How sad is that? I tried my darndest to get me just 2 seats anywhere in that arena, but no go this time around. I was veerrry sad as I realized the dream was over for the time being. However, Bruce is returning to NJ in late Sept/early Oct to play as the last musical act in Giants Stadium before it is torn down...so I'll have to hope that this time, the Ticket Fairy smiles down upon me! Should be a bit easier, considering the number of tickets available is exponentially increased. (Still, I haven't yet got up the nerve to visit Bruce's website to read about the show that I shoulda been at...I'm afraid it will break my heart!)

Oh No EV, that's terrible news! I was so excited for you and hoping this would work out. What irony - backstage passes to a show you can't get tickets for! Hopefully things will work out later this year.

EV, I am so sorry you weren't able to get tix to the Bruce concert, thus not being able to use your backstage passes. However, I am so optimistic about you getting to a Giants Stadium show in the fall!

Well, Bruce managed to sell out 3 shows at Giants Stadium last week in just a few hours. I wasn't able to be at a computer, and I never even got past a busy signal on my phone during an hour of repeated dialing. But, my friend's husband got through...got us all nosebleed seats (on my friend's birthday!) True to form, though, Bruce then added 2 more shows that go on sale this Monday (when I can be on the computer)--so I will give it one more college try to see if we can better our position! Either way, we're in the stadium, which is an improvement over last month! Fingers crossed!
