I would go ahead. We all use wallpapers that other people have made. I certainly do because I don't have the skill or patience to try & make my own.

My wallpapers have to be somewhat restrained - the PC at home is shared with hubby & kids (the kids each have their own sign on and backgrounds, hubby & I share) and has a photo of lavender fields in Tuscany (I think!). Rob chose that for me. My laptop is from work so I have to behave their too - so my background is Star Trek's USS Voyager. My screensaver is a bunch of personal photos, in the approximate order of: family, dog, daughter, dog, boy cat, son, dog, girl cat, husband, dog, grandmother, dog...
