I saw The Blind Side today, with one of my service users. I'd definitely recommend it! I thought it was brilliant.

I loved it too. I have seen it twice and I plan to buy the DVD at some point.

I thought it was great, too - and very family-friendly.

Can you believe that was Tim McGraw playing the Dad? He was freaking unrecognizable!

While Hubby thought the movie was very slow, (I had to remind him that it wasn't an action movie ) I appreciated the spotlight it put on the acting. Great movie in that regard.

I also barely recognized Tim McGraw! I thought he did a top notch job in his role. As for Phil Collins' daughter, Lily, I got a big kick out of her character's name being "Collins"!!

I also loved The Blind Side and thought Sandra Bullock was very well deserving of her Oscar. Now, I've still got to see Crazy Heart with Jeff Bridges - need to put that on my to-do list.

Me too Dreamer. The other night I chose The Lovely Bones over Crazy Heart. I'm sort of sorry I did. I read TLB years ago when it was on Oprah's Book Club and remembered liking the book. I would have to re-read it, but I didn't care for the surreal scenes in the movie depicting the lead character in her in-between state. I thought the book did a better job of that.
