Happy 44th Birthday to the guys very first no. 1 song, Best Of my Love.

Happy 30th Anniversary to the Dead Dog Records story arc on Wiseguy.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

There's a few minutes left in March 20 (at least EDT). Just saw this:

THIS DAY IN HISTORY: March 20, 1980 - At Asylum Records in New York City, 28-year-old Joseph Riviera holds employees at gunpoint, demanding to talk to either Jackson Browne or one of the Eagles. When informed that they lived in California, Riviera pockets his pistol and leaves the building. Riviera would later surrender to police and never received an audience with the rockers.

    Oh my gosh! Too funny!

I'm sure it wasn't to the poor receptionist though!

Happy 46th Birthday to one of Don and Glenn's very first songs that they wrote together that started their partnership, Tequila Sunrise.

Happy 25th Anniversary of the HFO taping. I wish I saw them back then, but I was too young.

Hard to wrap my head around the fact that the HFO resumption was 25 years ago.

I wish I had seen them back then too, but I wasn't too young. I was too unstable.

Us, too! We checked out the tour dates (Cincinnati: check!)... then we found out ticket prices. Although a bargain compared to today's concert prices, we didn't have the money. Jeez, wish we could have gone!

I remember when HFO debuted on MTV and VH-1 (I think, might be wrong), we were so excited! The Eagles were getting back together! Life was good.
