Cardiff
Oh dear, guess who's just got herself tickets for Cardiff on Sunday, and how is she going to explain this to the other half?
This time my older son is going to come with me. His exams are all finished and he said he'd really like to see them...did I need another excuse? I really think it's my last chance ever, so hey ho!

Re: Cardiff
OMG - Kate. I just saw your post on Eagleland. You've got it bad, girl! Good for you!
I remember last year after Oakland, I wanted so badly to extend my trip so I could catch a few more shows. After spending an entire morning trying to rearrange our trip, I finally gave up. However, not long after I got home, Karen mentioned Sacramento and asked her how hard she had to twist my arm!

Kate -- That's wonderful!!! I'm so happy for you (but also so jealous)!

Cause I'm livin' on things that excite me,
Be they pastries or lobsters or love;
I'm just tryin' to get by being quiet and shy,
In a world full of pushin' and shove.

Block A3, 10th row. This time I am determined to wear my Strange Weather Glenn t-shirt, and will stand up and be brazen! I WANT EYE CONTACT!!! I have hired my son, Phil, as a bouncer, after my experiences wandering round London late at night. I promise photos this time!

You go for it. The key is to be shameless, it worked for me I can't wait to hear all about it and see the pictures!

Re: Cardiff
I will. Shameless, here I come!
(Those of you who have met me will realise that I'll have to stand up to get noticed! Phil, on the other hand, is 5'10, but will be cringing in embarrassment!)

Re: Cardiff
Shameless is fun, isn't it? Those pictures with Joe are priceless! I promise to everyone here that I will leave Glenn in good enough shape for Rama!

Sounds like it's a good thing he has a month to rest up before Rama.
Go ahead and embarrass your son. It's your duty. If he starts to fuss, just remind him you brought him into this world and you can take him out!
