Is it just me, or is he not singing the high notes in the song? Seems like like he drops out and let the background singers do them when they get to the repeated sections and the chorus. Msybe he blew his voice doing the solo show?

Yep. He and Stevie Nicks both pull that trick whenever they don't feel confident they'll make the note. Guess it was a bit of an off night in that regard.

I know singers and bands drop the key down on songs to help them reach the notes. I was wondering why they couldn't do that for Randy back then. Is it that big of a deal for musicians? Probably so if they haven't rehearsed it first. I can't imagine they wouldn't do it because of the audience. Most people wouldn't even notice if the key was lowered.
