Just listened to OTB this afternoon. It struck me this time around how this record, perhaps more than any other, really felt like a team effort. Everyone was "on" and everyone had their place to shine.

As for My Man, in my opinion, it has some of the prettiest harmonies in the entire catalog. It's a gorgeous song.

Just another thought about the album during its celebration week. I've said this before, but I think this could possibly be the band's most underrated album. I'd like to hear others thoughts about this. So what say you?

I agree it's underrated. It didn't even get much love in the Eagles documentary!

I have always thought this. We are now at a point where not one track from it is played live. The underrated songs for me are Good Day In Hell, James Dean, My Man & Is It True to some extent.

That c.d. is very underrated and I haven't heard of this c.d. until my dad mentioned "have you ever heard of On The Border by the Eagles?" I mean it has some hits on there, but those other songs are super incredible. Why don't they play them anymore? LOL a question some one should ask them. I love those songs on there. I mean all of the songs should be worth mentioning.

They used to play Already Gone & they played Best Of My Love the last time I saw them. They played James Dean briefly around 2003 & they played Ol '55 at their Millennium shows. They won't play songs sung by former members & I suspect they think the other tracks are not well known enough.

They dropped all those songs for the miniature setlist they've been doing for the past two years, but I'm hoping that will change with the upcoming tour!
