This is possibly my favorite Eagles album! I know some folks don’t care for it much, based on some of the comments from the Survivor games, but for me it melds great musicianship and those wonderful harmonies in a perfectly balanced way.

As far as the band members go, Randy said in a Rock Cellar Magazine interview that he really liked the album and that the bass parts are fun to play, especially the RnB parts. He was really happy with it.

Like Soda, I will give it a listen later today.

One of my favorites as well! Deserves another listen to... or maybe two.

On The Border is a great album! I love the artwork too! I wish the title track and James Dean got more airplay. Good Day in Hell rocks! Very solid record throughout.

I love this album too ! It has always been one of my favorites. Very cool that Randy like this album so much. One of my favorite songs on the album is Midnight Flyer. Randy does an amazing job with the song and the harmonies are incredible. One of the things I love about this album is that Don and Glenn split to singing. I ways wished they had done that on the HC(maybe LITF).
    So, Cheers to OTB !

Happy 47th Birthday to On The Border.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley
