    Default On the Border... quacking?!

I just got the Selected Works and at the end of "On the Border" I hear about a minute of something that sounds like quacking! What is up with that?!

Oh yes, I just got Selected Works too! (Mainly for the artwork!!) That is Joe's 'A Flock of Wah Wahs' track which comes at the end of his 'But Seriously, Folks' album. He's really goofy sometimes, isn't he?! I only heard it recently when I got the CD. We had an old tape of this album but whoever recorded it had left that bit off.

Ah, thanks Kate! They should really tell you that somewhere on there! The "One of These Nights" intro is a hoot, too. I wish there was more audio interviews of them from that period around.

    Er... well.... um...

It freaked me out! That's Glenn? Yikes! I get that it's a joke, but I'm thinking it should have been left in the discard pile!

The quacking at the end of But Seriously Folks was only added when it was put onto to CD recently. Bill Szymczyk added it on to the end of Life's Been Good on the cd.

Ah, that accounts for it. Still doesn't explain the mystery 'parental guidance' sticker on my CD though!

    LOL!

I really should purchase that CD. The more I listen to Joe the more I like him.

No I guess not Kate, though of course every Eagles cd I have bought has an advisory sticker on it...were our fellas really so bad ?

Soda-But Seriously Folks is definitely a good one to go for. Thats the first album I got after getting his "Little Did I Know" compilation. The whole album is good start to finish and contains one of my favourite Joe tracks-Tomorrow (which Messers Frey, Henley and Schmit sing background vocals on and Glenn does the vocal arrangement for).

Perhaps it's meant to read "Warning, listening to this CD could become addictive"!
