I'm conflicted about MYFML. I do love it, but it's a cover... so I don't know what I'm going to do next round.

I have to respond there - it certainly isn't really his style, that's what is so great about it. Any song about New Orleans is going to win my heart. It isn't like anything else he's ever done and it is the type of song that would have fitted perfectly on Robbie Robertson's Storyville album (about New Orleans). I haven't expressed many opinions on these songs but I have to say that I love Down By The River.

Well as a strong advocate of Down By the River, I, obviously, agree with FP about this. The song may not be Tim's usual style, but it still suits him extremely well, IMHO. I think that's part of why I love it so much - because it is a diversion from his usual style, but he still pulls it off so well. As I said before, it is raw, sexy, hot, and bluesy, and I think he should have done more of this kind of music. For all those people who think he can only do slow, sweet, ballads - this song is definite proof to the contrary.

Now, it doesn't appear that Was It Just the Moonlight can be saved, but I'm going to vote for one of those slow, sweet ballads ...
