Glenn and Joe do karaoke!

I got a kick out of this news item from a Hawaiian paper:

"Joe Walsh and Glenn Frey of The Eagles found their way to Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar Kapalua after the Mercedes Championship on Maui and treated late-night diners to karaoke singing."

There's this funny clip from the HFO era where Glenn mentions to a Japanese reporter that he likes karaoke, and one of the crew members or something comes up and starts doing "Take It Easy." Poor Glenn is like "Umm...." lol. He tells him "You can sing along - just not onstage!"

I love that segment. That has one of my favourite Glenn 'looks'.

Re the karaoke - the mind boggles. I can picture Glenn standing with a microphone singing. I don't suppose this has given him any ideas for the next Eagles tour. Hey, if Henley can do it so can he.

I wonder what they sung? I bet they hammed it up a bit, it must have been a sight!

Hubby and me embarrassed ourselves mortally once singing Take It Easy at a Karaoke night. Thank goodness everyone else had had a glass of wine or two.

I just read that post about Glenn & Joe doing karaoke--I sure wish I could've seen that as well! Wouldn't you have loved to see the faces of the people in the bar when Glenn & Joe walked onstage? LOL!

I would have been DYING if I saw those two walk up to a karaoke machine at a sushi bar where I was eating! I would be hard-pressed to keep from squealing in delight. lol

Karaoke aside, can you imagine having dinner and these two waltz in? Would you drop your teeth or what?

Karen, I think I would totally be paralyzed - "Should I say something? Should I go up to them? Should I even look their way? Should I pretend I don't see them and just watch them out of the corner of my eyes?" lol
