Happy 46th Birthday to Desperado.
Brothers for life. RIP Glenn
I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley
The 40+ minutes or so of this program is an in-depth look at the recording of Desperado, through interviews with Glenn and Randy (not together):

Not to be obnoxious, but I had linked this program in another thread under the title that it's a celebration of OTB, but it's predominantly about Desperado.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY DESPERADO!!!
I adore this album - it is second only to Hotel California as my favorite Eagles album. Those boys were wise beyond their years back in '73. And thanks for those links NMB.

This is the billboard on Sunset Blvd. I remember seeing it back in the day <3
Love it, MJ!
My favorite Eagles album too!

1948-2016 Gone but not forgotten
47 years? Can that be true? I bought it that year but may have had to wait until my birthday in August. I wasn't too sure about it to begin with but over the years, it became my favourite.
My favorite Eagles album... despite what Austin thinks about it.
