    HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO DESPERADO!

Not bad for a #%$*@& cowboy record! It's my second favorite Eagles album. I just love it from start to finish.

Happy Belated 48th Birthday to the "God, they made a f-ing cowboy record" album, Desperado.

I tried to post for the actual day, but the website has been acting up.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

Dreamer- Glenn's quote always cracks me up! It is such a great album, maybe before it time. It has so many great songs. I can not believe it has been 48 years ! It is hard to believe that two amazing rock classics were the first two songs Don and Glenn wrote (as per Glenn).

Such a classic. The collection of songs tell a great story, and individually give human insights and life lessons...all from such young guys! Put it on repeat! And oh, ....I LOVE cowboys!

Happy the big 5-0 to the “they made a f-ing Cowboy record” album, Desperado.

    HAPPY 50th ANNIVERSARY DESPERADO!!!

Well - From where I sit, they didn't just make a "f-ing Cowboy record" ... they made a f-ing AWESOME Cowboy record. And here we are still talking about it and listening to it 50 years later. I'm going to listen to it from start to finish sometime this week to celebrate.
