Okay, it appears that Joe Perry sold the South Short property finally. I think it had something to do with -- oh, no -- a divorce! Anyway, if you want to get a gander at his old digs, go to Google Earth and type in "The Boneyard, Duxbury, MA" and it will pull up an aerial view of the property. (Duxbury and Marshfield, by the way, are right down the road from one another, for those of you not familiar with the area south of Boston. I spent a lot of time in that neck of the woods when I lived there)
I just need a little downtime.........

Great pics RM! Thanks for sharing!

Here's an update on Steven. Looks like he has a broken shoulder. Yikes!

Kinda funny that the Aerosmith website doesn't have any news and that Joe Perry hasn't talked to him!

Well, It's official, the rest of the Aerosmith tour has been cancelled
according to the band's website. This is due to Steven Tyler's injuries
due to a fall from the stage in South Dakota on August 5th. No word
on if and when it will be rescheduled.

Like I said earlier, I'm glad I got to see the tour opener in St. Louis back
in June. It was a great show. Maybe they will be back again when Mr. Tyler heals.

Well - I'm late again, but I sure hope Steven fully recovers and that Aerosmith will be back kicking butt soon!

He must have landed backwards -coz if he 'd landed face first-those lips would have cushioned the fall!

Just kidding! I hope he's 100% soon. He's an amazing frontman!

wow they are just not having luck this tour, first Brad hits his head and has to sit out the beginning, then i believe Steven pulls a hamstring, then Tom's cancer returns and then Steven falls off the stage
did i miss anything/ get anything wrong?
they seemed to be having some bad luck there.
i hope Steven gets well soon, and comes back better than ever.
and i also wish Tom a speedy and well recovery.

Stephen speaks! This is just a small excerpt from the interview. Note-language!

    From Rolling Stone:

Steven Tyler Speaks Out About Injury, State of Aerosmith: “We’re One for All, All For One”
    8/25/09, 12:05 pm EST
    David Browne

“Do I sound fucked up or stoned?” Steven Tyler asks, calling from his home in New Hampshire on Monday. In his first comments to the press, Tyler wants to set the record straight about what happened when he fell off the stage in South Dakota on August 6th — followed by a cancellation of Aerosmith’s summer tour and subsequent reports of band turmoil. “Truth be known, I jumped off the stage on purpose,” he jokes at first. “Figured we hadn’t gotten any new press in so long.” But then Tyler got serious.

    How’s your health?
I’ve been better. I’ve got my arm in a sling [from a broken shoulder]. I’m on all the drugs I’m not supposed to be on. But I’m dealing with the pain pretty good.

    Default Steven Tyler leaves Aerosmith

I wonder what this is really about. Steven walks away after 40 years. I'm thinking there is more to the story than meets the eye. Wonder if anyone here had some more info.
