Here's Glenn & Joe on Swedish TV, possibly 2001. Cute.

I found a few videos from the Berklee commencement concert from 2012 when the guys got their honorary doctor degree. I don't know if this was posted. If it was forgive me.

I'm guessing the graduates or students of the Berklee College of Music sing that year's honorary doctor honorees songs.

Here's Heartache Tonight. The guys (and also Alison and Mulatu Astatke) come on stage around 4:39. You see the back of their heads mostly as they shake hands with the performers, but you see them. Its funny that Don would work with Alison 3 years later on Cass County.

Desperado. There's a narration on the guys around 3:57. I have to say. This was a great narration of the history of the Eagles.

Hotel California. The two guitarists did a great job with guitar duo.

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

Thanks so much for posting these, Shadowland! It's been a long time since I've seen the "Desperado" and "Tequila Sunrise" clips but I had never seen that "Earlybird" one. That was great! I had never seen "Lover's Moon" either.

    The "Desperado" clip is EXCELLENT!

It's also interesting to see JD's versions of the songs.

Thanks for those videos shun and SL. I'm feeling a bit nostalgic today and those were like 'chicken soup for my soul'.

I saw this on YouTube. Here's the whole 60 minutes Uncut video plus an interview with CMT Insider in 2007.

Thanks, Shun that was a really interesting programme, giving good insight into Don and Glenn's relationship....

....and I love Glenn's quote "we weren't the Rolling Stones but we weren't The Osmonds!" You don't say!
...Well it sure makes you wonder the things that some people will say. They can see black and white but they don't seem to notice the grey...

I always loved that line because The Osmonds are my other favorite group I listen to religiously. That tells me the guys knew about the Osmonds and how clean they were during the 70s. I guess that's a compliment from Glenn because after a few years into the 70s, the critics started to not care about the Osmonds. The Osmonds played two of their songs in their show: Heartache Tonight and Best of My Love. They've been singing Heartache Tonight since the 80s.
