Rock & Roll Hall of Fame posted a YouTube video of the Eagles performing Hotel California from their induction.

Thanks CA - Glad they put that up; I wish Take It Easy was up there two. It was indeed a historic night in that it is the one and only time that all 7 members of the band appeared on the same stage together.

How "Peaceful, Easy Feeling" came to be. Very good conversation with Jack Tempchin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djNVI8o-alk

A minor detail...I've never paid much attention to the instrument Glenn played on TIE in the 70's, but I recall Felder saying in his book that he encouraged Glenn to play an electric instead of acoustic on this song. But here Glenn is playing electric before Felder joined. Was this a one-off thing or did he often play electric on TIE before Felder joined? I was kind of surprised to see this, remembering Felder's comment.

I'm pretty sure he often did. Felder tends to get confused about such things. To be fair, though, I think he switched back and forth, and perhaps Felder told him he should stick to electric?
