How do you do it on Real Player? I haven't had any luck.

You have to have the RealDownloader plugin: http://www.real.com/realdownloader

Once you have that and you go to YouTube, a little popup should appear in the upper right hand corner of a video saying DOWNLOAD THIS VIDEO and just click that.

I've also used it to pull audio from videos.

I agree, Soda! i love it! There was a very poor quality video of it that I saw a number of years ago, but I haven't seen it anywhere since then.
