I just saw this on a closed Facebook Don / Eagles group. I'd never seen it before! It's the Eagles performing "Keep on Tryin'" in 1972 - the same show we have "Take It Easy" from. SO COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a good one. It's from a 1994 show and includes Get Over It, Joe playing Amazing Grace (on a GF signature Rickenbacker, if I'm seeing right). Joe mugs a lot for the camera, Glenn is subdued, Henley struts, Felder looks happy and Tim does not.

Isn't it wonderful? Turned up out of the blue back in April - we Meisner maniacs in particular were rejoicing.

The 1972 Tryin' performance was a good fit with Cameron Crowe's recent quote:

They were fierce and joyful, playing with all the piss and vinegar of a young band hitting its early stride.

It's annoying when videos are restricted by region. I guess that Buffalo 1994 videos won't be available in the US, either.

Can someone with good ears listen to Glenn's dedication to Randy on this TITTL clip from 9 July 2013? I could swear he says "I want to dedicate this to a guy who's down here tonight, our former bass player Randy Meisner..." and then I find it hard to follow.

Does this mean that Randy was there for the opening show of the tour?

I think it's standard for Glenn to dedicate or send the song out "to someone who's not here with us tonight." I doubt very much that Randy was traveling or going to concerts just a few months after his accident. He was in a bad way but thankfully, reportedly, hopefully is doing much better.

Thanks for this UTW. It seems to be only be available in Europe. It's rare to see a HFO show these days and they all look so young!! Glenn does seem to be off form, like he's struggling to put on a happy face and it seemed to affect the rest of the band - apart from Felder. It was a very subdued concert compared to other ones I've seen. Don was on drums for most of the concert and I loved hearing Desperado with him on drums and Glenn on the piano - always a classic performance!!

But it was good - I've forgotten much of the HFO concert I saw, I was too excited to just be there
