This is just stupid but I thought I would post it---some people just go overboard with these kind of things!!

He sings it high, he plays it low
Willie, I just got around to listening to that beautiful clip of Timmy singing Caroline No with the Beach Boys. I'm so accustomed to hearing Timmy's harmonies with the Eagles that it was a real treat hearing him with the Beach Boys. His lilting voice added a nice, new flavor to that song.
And thanks, Soda. I was tickled to find that Letterman video. You can tell that he and Paul are true music fans--they seemed genuinely thrilled to be a part of that.
I'm sure some of you have seen this before but I thought I would post it anyways because I was just watching it again. I know he wrote it but I still like Timmy and The Eagles version better.

I'm with ya, tbf. I know this is a shocker, but I like the Tim/Eagles version better too. I know a lot of people diss this song, but I personally think it is beautiful. It has a gorgeous melody and music. And then, there is the delivery with Tim's amazing voice. IMO, a lot of pure love songs get a bad wrap (most recently I Love To Watch A Woman Dance). For me, just because the lyrics aren't deep and complex doesn't mean it's a bad song. I think simplistic lyrics can be very emotionally affecting when delivered from the heart. Any song that moves me emotionally passes my test as a good song.
"People don't run out of dreams: People just run out of time ..."

I'm sure I might be repeating here-but just in case. Here's Take It To The Limit done by Kenny Chesney and Keith Urban. I am going on record right now as saying I HATE COUNTRY MUSIC! so in no way do I think this is a good version! Sorry for all you Chesney or Urban fans!!

I'll go on record as liking SOME country music! I especially love Keith Urban's!
As far as this song, I like their version. I think they do fine on it. But, I will always prefer Randy's version and then Glenn's.

Check out this amazing syncing of bootleg footage to the track, with gaps in the footage creatively filled and/or enhanced:

These are also very cool:
Hotel California
Desperado
WOW. LROOE was unbelievable. I wish the Eagles themselves could see that--they would be impressed.
I liked Desperado too--whoever crafted those videos captured some amazing footage of Don. Just terrific!
Really cool Soda--Loved them. Those were put together really great.
