Default Nice story - Joe B meets Timothy

I read this story about Timothy the other day - possibly, some of you have readthis, but I thought it was a very nice 'article' and decided to share, in case you hadn't read it...not sure if I can post the whole thing here (is it good etiquette not too?)...anyway, it's a good read and more evidence that our Timmy is quite a nice guy! (But honestly, do we need more proof? )...

No Anne - I don't think we need any more proof! I think the consensus around here is that Timothy is a nice guy!

You did the right thing, anne-o-gg. Posting the link is good netiquette, posting the whole article is not. By posting the link you can direct people to the site that put up the story in the first place, which is only fair since they are the ones that took the time and effort to put it up. That site certainly has a lot of good information.

    Love that story!

Hmmm, kind of makes you wonder if any of the Eagles do find their way to this site!

Well, I was discussing this with friends. We were saying that if it were “us” just out of curiosity, if we were famous we’d google ourselves! If there were any major fan websites on us, we’d surely be looking to see what people were saying… even if it wasn’t a daily thing, our egos would get the best of us and we’d have to pop in every once in a while, just to see.

I guess it just depends on how much time they have on their hands!

I'd make time. Really, I know I spend a lot of time on here, but if someone knew what my daily routine was, I think most people would find it hard to believe I had time for the border! I think we all make time for things we want to do... and jumping on the internet takes almost no time at all.

Absolutely! Look at people like John Mayer, who twitters so compulsively I'm almost tempted to unfollow him. Blake Shelton, Rob Thomas... a lot of them have blank downtime while waiting for planes, etc., and putz around online to pass the time. (Acutally got a twitter account for the express purpose of following Blake, who receives my nomination as the single most concurrently entertaining and offensive human alive.) I don't understand why famous people don't want to peruse their fan sites online - it's such an integral part of today's society, and such an easy way to promote yourself and your records. I'd want to see whether people liked me or not; whether I needed to adjust my attitude.

I'm not certain what to make of the internet boycott people like the Eagles and Stevie Nicks have undertaken. As someone who never, ever, ever answers her cell phone, I understand it; but, it's such a hardship not to have that kind of access to information, and fabulous to have wikipedia.org at my fingertips whenever my curiosity needs to be attended.
