First of all, Soul Searchin’ made such a brief exit last round with very little discussion, and since I was one of those leading the charge, I’m feeling a bit guilty. I just want to say again that I love the video. It is so sweet, and what girl doesn’t love it when a hot guy shows his vulnerable side like Glenn does this video. I also love the gospel choir and even how they invoke the social commentary into the video. It deserved to end up in the Top 5 in this game, IMO, as does The One You Love. Both videos showcase Glenn’s acting ability, which is very appealing to me. The One You Love is also a very well done artistic video. Again, the angst and vulnerability that Glenn portrays are melt-worthy, especially when that skank is getting it on with the other guy in the car and leaves Glenn literally standing out in the cold. Unfortunately, all of the last few rounds have been difficult because there are so many really good videos to choose from. But, to quote a very wise man, “it’s the nature of the business” and “someone had to lose”. Now that it's almost a sure thing that TOYL is going down this time, I am going to return to strategy …
