LOL! I do that too! I get paranoid about them disappearing or not being able to find them!

Koala, it's so nice to reminisce. Only trouble is, it makes you want more!

It was this date in Eagles' history in 2008 that I saw my first & only Eagles' concert at a festival in Moncton, New Brunswick. What a thrill! I learned later that GH was there too! It was an outdoor venue with a crowd of 55,000 in attendance! They bring in big name entertainers to highlight the festival which is held once a year. This year it was U2. Pierce Brosnan was in the audience. (One of my favorite actors.)

Here is the link to an article posted last week in the Moncton newspaper, anticipating the U2 show & reminiscing about past years: http://timestranscript.canadaeast.co...rticle/1426405

Here are the parts that mention the Eagles:

In 2008, the Eagles brought a musically perfect show, along with a tremendously energetic John Fogerty to a crowd of 55,000.
And of course there was the final song of the Eagles concert, when the stage lights turned the gentle mist into a night-time rainbow as Don Henley sang Desperado. I think that was just a bit more incredible than walking through the crowd during the Bachman-Cumming show as a choir of 33,000 sang "Takin' Care of Business" at the top of their lungs.
That show is one of the best memories of my life

    It's my turn to reminisce.

You can always tell when I use this avatar that it's the anniversary week of August 5, 1988 when I saw Glenn for the first time when he was touring as a guest of the Little River Band. Although his segment of the show only lasted about 45 minutes I was directly in front of him and it was beyond awesome. I still think the version of YBTTC I heard that night was perhaps the best ever; he shared the vocals in THIO with Glenn Shorrock which wasn't so good.

Obviously this photo is dear to my heart. I finally got some more eye contact photos last December which are better quality than this, but this is the first.

This is probably my favourite of the other photos; I think this is during the medley of Lyin' Eyes/Take It Easy (I would have preferred to hear the whole songs but he was a guest after all)..

We didn't get all of Desperado either but what we did get was wonderful:

And that was it until 1995; and I thought that was it for solo performances. Seems I was wrong.

Yes, you will finally get to see the real deal!

Since Glenn didn't tour at all for Soul Searchin', to see him perform even a shortened, shared set during that era is quite special, as you know. Love your photos!
