November 30 (today my time) was the first Sydney show on the LROOE tour. You can still see the photos from all four shows I attended:

but by far the best photos are from the December 2 show.

Awwww! Enjoy reliving those memories Julie. They are very special. But I BET when you saw them last year you NEVER thought you'd make it to Fallsview to see Glenn !

Yep, its amazing how pics just 'work' for you some nights better than others! I thought on account of being VIP seated, and indoor my Belfast pics would be my better ones from the 09 tour, but actually it was my Dublin ones which were.

Actually the November 30 photos would have been better if I had the camera on 'sport' rather than 'museum' as a helpful Borderer explained to me before I went to December 2. I therefore took extra care on December 2. For the last two shows I was on Joe's side.

Yeah! Sport is designed to take photos with very fast shutter speeds designed to freeze action. Perfect for concert action too.

I just realized as I was about to leave for work that today is a special Eagles-related day for me.

10 years ago today, on Dec. 6, 2001, I saw an Eagle live for the first time. It was Mr. Don Henley at Stevie Nicks' 2001 Arizona Heart Benefit. He performed an unforgettable version of End of the Innocence that was especially poignant considering the relatively recent events of 9/11; it gave me chills. He also performed Boys of Summer, and of course Leather and Lace with Stevie.

He and Stevie were wonderful together. I got this photo of them:

Little did I know what was to occur just a few years later, when I plunged into Eagles fandom with abandon - and just look at me now!
