Yes, that was an awesome show!!! OMG!!
I saw it in NY
I was at the London O2 Arena show on 22 March 2008 - can't believe it was 5 years ago. It was my first Eagles show & the first time I'd seen my darling Will Hollis in the flesh......the world stood still and I'm sure my heart stopped when Will & the other support band guys walked onto the stage.
Although the arena was full, for a few seconds I wasn't aware of anyone except Will.
I've got wonderful memories of that night!! The Eagles ran onto the stage as they played the opening bars of 'How Long' - haven't seen them run on at any show since.
I didn't care that they were in THOSE suits; I was just overawed to be at my first Eagles show.
We had seats in the middle section, row 3, so we had a good view.
'LROOE & Waiting in the Weeds' sounded awesome, and I was pleased that they did 'Somebody' 'cos listening to the CD I'd thought that it would make a good live song - and it did.
You never forget your first time.
That was the 3 hour show if I recall correctly....
Maybe they are going to do 3 hours for this tour???? Didn't we hear that someplace??
I think Glenn Frey said it ~ I would pay the money they're asking to see a 3-hour show. It would be worth it. If they ever come to the South, that is.

A year ago tonight, HH, Zelda, and I were shopping in a freakishly large liquor store in Alpharetta, picking up supplies for our stay to see our guys. Tomorrow will be one year since the three of us and Soda saw them, and Saturday will be one year since HH, LizzyPlays, and I saw them.
A pic from each:

You can't change the world but you can change yourself.
And I see that 'Joe was here' photo's been floating around Facebook today. Man, I wish I could have made that trip to San Jose!

And I dream I'm on vacation 'Cause I like the way that sounds,
It's a perfect occupation for me.
We were tagged in it yesterday, I noticed. I will never forget getting a text from a couple of the ladies out there saying something like "OMG!! Joe and Smokey were just standing within feet of us at the elevator" and then finding out that it had left them all speechless. Kind of glad Ticky behaved herself and Joe was able to still make it to the shows.
