Just listening to the album. It's been a while. Man, that vocal performance of Glenn's in HT is just....wow!

I'm slightly embarrassed to say that I still LOVE Teenage Jail. A great riff and Glenn sounds kind of...."twisted" singing along with it. Spooky atmosphere. And whatever Felder may think, a FANTASTIC guitar solo.
Anyway, the point of this post....Do we know who came up with that verse riff/melody?
I like Teenage Jail. *Runs and hides Its soo dark. I like the back and forth vocals between Don and Glenn.
Brothers for life. RIP Glenn
I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

TJ is a personal favorite of mine as well
I've always thought Teenage Jail was funny. I certainly can remember looking out the window thinking, "I've got to get out of here"!
"Be part of something good--
Leave something good behind."
I've always loved "Teenage Jail" because it seemed so different for the Eagles, but I also like "Disco Strangler" a lot for the same reason.
So does anyone know who came up with the TJ verse riff/melody??
