Stuck on the Border
Re: Today in Rock n' Roll History
Time to bring out my dvd of Woodstock. Even though I was still over a quarter of a century away from being born, I love watching the festival(minus the storms and rain). I have a special 4 disc dvd of the festival(includes bonus performances and interviews). I believe that Woodstock was either the first or second gig CSNY did.
I agree with the sentiment of "peace, love, and music"

Yes, me too. I will look for my dvd as my boyfriend has never seen it.
I wish things were like that today, but they have sure changed.
I believe it was Crosby who said before they started that it was the second time they ever played in front of people & were scared shitless! LOL
Neil Young was there but didn't even want to appear on camera, so it looks like he isn't there. On the album, he sings a song called "Sea of Madness" which is really good, so we know he was really there.
