I have a Blu-Ray player and so of course an HDMI cable. I tried it on a non-Blu-Ray player and a different HD TV and the picture was much worse. So I'm guessing that what I have is the best it can be. I've just gotten spoiled!

The close-ups of the guys were OK, it was the longer shots of them standing, where you can see all of them that were obviously not HD. I'm sure if they release it in BDVD, a lot of people will say they are only after more money, but I for one would appreciate it.

If I had to choose, though, I'd prefer a HOTE concert DVD and/or CD to be released.

Even your HD channels will look even better using the cable! If you you have a digital box you may need two cables.

VA, do you have your TV screen setting at 16x9?

Technically true, tlr. Sorry, but some of us tend to use the two words interchangeably. Initialism isn't a commonly-used term here in the U.S.

    That's probably why I hadn't heard it.

It has become acceptable to use "acronym" and "initialism" interchangeably, at least in the USA (see definition 2). Indeed, in the USA, many users will get a red underline if they try to use "initialism" because the default dictionaries don't even have it in there.

Hard on the heels of Long Road Out of Eden and Eagles Live's anniversaries is that of Hell Freezes Over... we've already had the anniversary of the video, but today is the anniversary of the album release.

    HAPPY ANNIVERSARY HELL FREEZES OVER

I am so glad that hell did indeed freeze over - what a wealth of wonderful new music it and subsequent work from our guys has brought us. I love this album. It is the second one that I bought (the first being the VBO)!
