Covers of Eagles Songs

Again, this isn't a video of Timothy - do we have a thread about covers of Eagles' songs, I couldn't find it? It is Chromeo performing their version of ICTYW live. They released it as a single in 2009, and it is everywhere online and seems like a legit recording, so I am assuming the Eagles authorized it. I think it's cool because 1) it's a totally different genre of music and 2) I like it when any artist acknowledges a TBS song.

I really don't want to clutter this thread with videos of not-TBS, but wanted to bring up this song. Any suggestions?

I know this isn't strictly a cover of an Eagles' song but I thought I'd post it as it's pretty cool, I think.

There's a bluegrass festival in Northern Ireland this weekend and Love Canon, an American bluegrass group were on the radio this morning with their bluegrass version of Don's BOS They do covers of 80s music and while I'm a bit particular about Don's songs I think they do a good job.

Not a bad version - the banjo part is good but still doesn't beat the original

Well of course, that goes without saying - the original is always the best! Especially accompanied by the video and Don looking scrummy. I love towards the end when we see him through the rear view mirror of the car

Sorry, but my opinion of that bluegrass cover - "YUCK"!!! I'm not a big fan of bluegrass anyway, so don't mess with such an awesome song. Some covers are very good, but I've never seen one of The Boys of Summer that could hold a candle to the original. JMHO
