I'm not shocked by the votes far, they were on the bottom of my least favorites list. Thinking back to my initial reaction to Expando, I believe I may have called Compassion and Melancholy throw away songs... but Melancholy really grew on me. I'm sorry to see it go. I do not want to waste another vote on OMM, because IMO, I feel it should be gone already.

Right now, I'm trying to decide if I vote off my next least favorite, or stick it out one more round and try to get rid of OMM. After this round, I think it's gonna get hard for me. I just love this album so much!

Well, I had the same sentiments about Downtime, Soda! However, first things first....One More Mile is next on my list (well, it was actually first on my list, but who's counting...oh yeah, you are!)

I have absolutely no idea which song I should be vote! The best thing will be when I again listen to the album and then I'll vote later!

Oh no! I hope Downtime sticks around a bit longer!

I'm going to vote for White Boy From Sacramento. I like the fact that Tim has done something a little different and personal. It's a fun song, and it really steps up a notch towards the end - but it's just the one I listen to least, out of the remaining tracks. One More Mile made a real impact on me at first (I smiled when I heard those first few notes, and just knew I was going to love the album), so I can't vote it off just yet.

Shoot - I forgot to vote last round. Oh well,my vote would not have helped Melancholy anyway...

Here are my notes for Downtime.
    -------------------------------
This is one of those songs where I like the chorus a lot better than the verses. The lyrics do a good job of portraying the downtime vibe. As soon as he sits on his front porch I’m right there with him! Love the background vocals of Kid Rock and Dwight Yoakam and I’m so glad he had Van Dyke Parks continue his accordion work on this song.
    ---------------------------------------

I'll reiterate what I said about One More Mile earlier in the game. It's a great song, but Timothy's voice is not bluesy enough for it. That's why it's my least favorite on the album.

But, I'll hold my vote until later. (Hopefully I'll remember to come back this time!)
