    Default Another Poll: The Eagles need your vote

    These are always fun. My local classic rock station has put out another poll featuring the Eagles. This one is What is the best classic rock song that was written about drinking booze? Tequila Sunrise is on the list but it's only got 6.1% of the votes right now.

    Btw, I didn't get the chance to post about this over Christmas but they had a poll about the best classic rock Christmas songs and of course Please Come Home For Christmas was included. I don't know which song won that poll but I know that when I voted for our guys they were in the lead.

    I love those polls, my vote has Tequila Sunrise already.

    Here there was also a Christmas song poll. The Eagles were not represented under the best 35 songs!

    And also, is there any other song with an alcoholic beverage named after it? There's not one that I can think of at the moment. I've had a Tequila Sunrise before. It's pretty darn good.

    Well - I just tried to help out the cause. Already Tequila Sunrise has jumped up to over 12.6% probably thanks to Jess posting this link here. I'll vote often if I can. Honestly, I'm surprised that Margaritaville isn't doing better in the poll. I think that is one of the most recognizable drinking songs ever.
