Probably worked out for the best since Nancy went on to marry Cameron Crowe who is a good friend of Glenn's (and I presume Don as well).

Another mention of Don in Kicking and Dreaming.

It was originally intended for Don Henley, but he passed. The demo was country.
I thought this was rather interesting since we were just talking in another thread about Don's country album.

As part of this interview, Azoff relates the tragic story of how the Eagles only got half a million dollars in royalties over five years from iTunes.

    I cry.

And the article goes on to say about that half a million, "Glenn Frey of the Eagles "equated that to what they'd make for 38 minutes of live music one night in Kansas City.""

A half a million for 38 minutes? Sounds like a pretty good gig to me! Are tickets overpriced?
