According to Randy, Richie Furay and Jim Messina wouldn't let the other band members into the recording studio for the final mix. Randy didn't like that and left. Even though Randy might seem shy, it seems he wasn't afraid to speak out when he didn't like the way things were going.

I just posted this in the Randy video thread, but it should have probably been here since you were discussing Poco.

Did Randy sing lead on any songs when he was with Poco? Just curious.

I was on my Facebook page and they had this article the Rolling Stones about unnecessary sequel for some popular albums. The Eagles made the cut. I don't know to laugh or get mad, but it was funny what they said.

    Here's the whole article.

Not particularly funny to me. I'm not saying I'm angry or upset or anything. I don't think it's clever or funny.

Yeah - I agree MV. It's a pretty lame attempt at humor. Too bad cause I think it could've been funny ... I like the concept.

While it isn't well written and underscores all the reasons why I'm so glad RS finally quit sending me magazines I never ordered, I believe that with each entry they are merely slamming Eminem. Like if the Eagles were him, this is what they'd come up with. In fact, I think they tried to pick bands/artists that would never come close to doing anything as bad as Eminem's Part Deux.

The Eagles are mentioned here as donors for Habitat For Humanity Philippines.
