Leaving aside Tim & Don singing backup (why doesn't Glenn do this stuff)? the idea of Fogerty singing not only Garden Party but Back Home Again intrigues me.

It will be interesting to see if this comes into being. Isn"t this Irving company?
Wow - this is huge news! Thanks for finding it AEF. I think I am going to start a new thread for this. And yes, Frontline Management is Irving's company.

Here are a couple of excerpts from the article that we may find interesting here.
back in 2000, Jackson’s album [Thriller] was dethroned by the now 29-times-platinum Eagles album Their Greatest Hits 1971–75. You don’t have to be a virulent Don Henley-hater to find this standing offensive — a hits compilation, topping one of the greatest original pop recordings of all time?--------------------------------------------------------------------I’d love it if, by Labor Day, Jackson’s masterwork had not only tied but blown past the Eagles and become the first U.S. album to top 30 million in certified sales. Fingers crossed.
I was wondering if anyone here would mention this and then I read this article earlier today so I thought that I would bring it forward. I feel kinda bad for evening thinking this but I couldn't help but think about it yesterday and when I mentioned to a friend about how the Eagles: Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 album has been battling Thriller for years as the best selling album of all time, her first response was "Oh no, the Eagles have just lost." I know that the guys have already been given that title for the 20th Century but as far as music sales today and in the future, that title may now be in jeopardy for the Eagles.

Well, if Thriller surpasses Eagles: Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 in sales due to Michael Jackson's death, and the only way to regain the title of "best selling album of all time" would be the demise of an Eagle... I'll take second place.Originally Posted by idolator.com

I heard on CNN that people are buying Michaels CDs now because they are afraid that the record company may not be able to print? anymore of his music if his estate ends up in court for the next few years while they sort out who gets what. I'm like Soda, I would rather that all the members of Eagles stay alive and healthy. I can't find the Eagles Greatest Hits in any of the stores, maybe it just means they need to reissure it again.
