Never have I seen the experience of hardcore fandom described so perfectly, and so sanely. Yes, we are sane--we just also happen to be fans--very devoted fans.

Neither have I, this is why I wanted to share this with you. No matter what artist you love it just shows perfectly what music can do to you. I was fascinated from the first word and read it several times.

Brooke, like you I hope more of our friends would read it and tell us what they think. But I posted it in the Keith section and not everyone is reading this topic.

Even if that woman is a hardcore fan I think we all can find a little bit in ourselves of what she has written. When she describes his guitar playing I know exactly what she means. I remember I found myself staring at him while he was playing and I was absolutely disconnected from reality. There was a magic which I've never felt before when I went to a concert.

After every show Keith put up a small video in which he says thank you to his fans who came to that particular show. In every show before the encore he calls Nicole so she can hear the crowd screaming for more. Usually he does that backstage but once it didn't work so he called her while he was on stage. Unbelievable... don't know another singer who would do that.

Actually, I read this a while ago and meant to reply to it earlier too. I think all of us here can probably relate to a lot of what this lady is saying. It's nice to know that we are 'normal'.

And EF, Keith is absolutely HS&G. I admire your time management skills for being able to devote time to Keith and Glenn. I keep trying to find some time to 'investigate' Keith some more, but Glenn just keeps taking up all of my time.

I was talking to one of my close friends Jill a few days ago, and she started talking about how she'd recently started listening to Keith Urban, and wasn't he hot? Of course I immediately thought of you ladies!

LOL Dreamer, you're completely wrong. I have a lot of trouble with my time. But I don't want to miss anything so I'm switching between the forums all the time and try my best to pay attention to both. But I have to admit I pay more attention to Keith presently because
he's touring and there are a lot of news, pictures, reviews etc.

On the German Keith forum we're playing a Song Survivor as we did here
and I wasn't there for a week so I got a reminder via email because they missed my vote.
