The sad thing is, I missed all of those moments. Talk about being off of your game.

As I was admiring baseball photos (inspired by the Eagles Hotness thread) I realized that this must be Gene Carr right here:

That's a formidable-looking baseball player! RS never had a chance against these guys, lol.

I was just going to say......Timmy looks adorable there!

You know guys.......I don't believe I ever did get to hear the story behind these "schwetty" comments.

And I don't know who the guy second from the left is....but I'm thinking he must be an athlete? Look at the size of his legs compared to the other guys!

Maleah, you're not alone. And I even don't know what "schwetty" means.

I'll be glad to let you both in on the 'schwetty' comments, but I'm at work right now so it'll have to be later. I may have to PM you. Stay tuned!

Okay – Let me see if I can explain Pete Schweaty. I don’t know if all of you are familiar with Saturday Night Live (SNL) or not, but it’s a very popular, edgy comedy/variety show that has been airing late on yes, Saturday nights, since the ‘70’s here in the states. Each week a different celebrity is the guest host of the show, and stars in the comedy skits and/or performs if they are a musician. Anyway, the actor Alec Baldwin starred in some of the shows and created the character of Pete Schweaty. Here are links to the skits:

Now, how does this relate to Glenn? Well, last July in both Rama and Atlantic City, Glenn closed his shows singing Desperado sans guitar. Each time during that song, his hand movement was very incredible, but especially so, each night when he decided he needed a ‘front-end adjustment’ (if you know what I mean) in the middle of the song as we were standing right in front of him. He did this every night much to our … er … dismay! We couldn’t believe it, but you can be sure that we were watching very closely each night. We dubbed these the “Pete Schweaty” moments.
