Thanks for the links, GEF and TF. Sadly Glenn appeared much too short.
TF, there is a live stream on the site you posted. Does that mean we can watch the golf there every day and maybe get to see Glenn?

You ladies ROCK. That is just wonderful. Congratulations.

I just saw Glenn hitting a couple of shots & being interviewed. He said that they had mixed three songs last week 'but obviously I'm not working on it this week'. He said the song that best described golf was Hole In The World, and that golf is acoustic. Rich Lerner said 'you still rock in your 50s & 60s' & he said 'and beyond'. He mouthed 'thank you' when he hit a shot, I saw the Tongue, and he puffed his cheeks out. As I'm sure our ladies can tell us, he looked great. This was just after Clay Walker had been filmed so I knew he would finally be shown.

Thanks for that, FP, I hope you've had better luck recording it than me. I'll see if it's on the summary tomorrow. Sounds like he was cool. And tongue...<sigh>

When I tried to record it the DVD was 'unformatted' so I didn't get it. It was only about five minutes in total.

Default PLS, dreamer, and soda's Excellent Adventure 2007 Day 2

Well, today was quite a contrast from yesterday - but it was still good. Like last time, we'll give a few highlights and expand on them later.

Today was rainy and wet, but not as bad as we'd feared when driving up there (it was storming and we even got slowed down by a wreck). Glenn's group's playing "sucked" as he put it, and so the golfers were a grim bunch. While Glenn seemed too dispirited to interact much, he still managed a few smiles and jokes. We got to talk to him a couple times (see the GFO homepage for what PLS got out of him). He touched dreamer's arm at one point and told her to watch her step, and I got a photo with him (one of my main goals). So, while this day was certainly not as exciting as yesterday, that was pretty much a given. We still enjoyed ourselves, rain or shine!

You got a photo, Nancy? That is awesome!!! I thought there was a no cameras rule. And Dreamer won't be able to wash that arm now!

Sounds like Glenn's going to miss the cut again this year.

Very interesting news on GFO. I'm waiting to hear the full story now.

FP, sorry about your dvd failing, that's the sort of thing that's happening to me all the time.

No cameras allowed - but that doesn't stop a smuggler.

Rain or not you got the photo with him! Also Glenn is showing concern for and interacting with all of you; that is pretty neat in my books
