Glad you are home recuperating, Koala. Hope you'll be up and about before you know it, and it'll be all worth what you're going through right now. Hang in there!!!

The operation has lasted a little bit more than 2 hours.
As expected the meniscus was torn, in addition the bone must to be roughened because the cartilage is completely missing with the Patella was also made something there she is too small and runs not around on the bone as it should be really!
What??? I need a dictionary to understand this LOL

Koala, I hope you will recover soon

I'm thinking of you too, Koala. I'm glad you're already at home and that the recovery process can begin. Watch lots of HFO and F1 to keep you entertained!

Today I was again at the doctor, to see if everything is ok. I have still relatively strong pains, however, the doctor means this is normal, then I belive him!
I may also try to run without walking frame, but only at home, and only very briefly. The Problem is that I can‘t bend the knee and burden, we'll see if it works.
Early next week then the sutures are removed and decided how long I will be on sick leave again.

Well Koala, I'm sure the doctors are going to want you to exercise your knee as much as you can, but I'm also sure they are not going to let you do anything that would damage it while it is healing. I wouldn't "rush it" if you know what I mean.

As for ME....if I stub my toe, I try to take a month's sick leave to let it heal <LOL>
