Hey guys, I can only speak for myself, but no one needs to ask me before posting pics from my sites. I may have collected them and put them in an archive, and some I scanned in myself, but I didn't actually take more than a couple of them so I don't have a right to control them as if they're "mine."

Even if I did take them, after I chose to put them on the internet without adding any kind of copyright mark, not even a subtle one that wouldn't interfere with enjoyment of the photo, it would be unreasonable for me to expect people to somehow know that I took them no matter where they found them and thus treat them differently than they do other photos they've saved from various places. Let's face it - all those concert shots look pretty similar, lol.

In short, post photos from my sites freely here or anywhere else you see fit.

That being said, it is good netiquette to name the site you got the photo from, if you remember where you got it.

However, I realize that most people just stick the photos in their photobucket or save them to their hard drive and have no idea where they came from originally. If that happens with photos from here, don't worry. I have no desire to cyber-flog anyone for that!

Ah yes - I believe that is the concept commonly referred to as "public domain".

I'm flattered, but the only photos taken by me on GFO are of the show I went to back in August 1988. There are a lot of screenshots which I have done over the years but as far as I am concerned they belong to everybody.
