He still managed to do his In Charge act when he asked to see the nominations for Best Director:

Whenever I see that picture of Glenn and Janie, I always think that they didn't look very happy....what year did they marry and divorce?

I'm struck by the fact that Glenn looks much happier in that picture with Henley from the same night than he does with Plaintiff.

I've always gotten that vibe too from that picture. And I also feel that Plaintiff doesn't look too happy either in it. They look like a couple who have had a serious argument or difference of opinion shortly before the function. And they are just trying to put on a show of everything being ok for the cameras. JMHO.

Compare it with how he looks when he is accompanied by Cindy to the various functions that they attend......

Windeagle brought up Tom Nixon in another thread so I thought I'd post a few pictures of him. Although, I can't find any closeups, here are a couple of older photos with Tommy in them ...

Here is one from the Desperado photo shoot. That's Tommy in the back row – 3rd from right in the plaid shirt and white suspenders.



And here's the gang during the recording of No Fun Aloud at the Muscle Shoals studio in Alabama. That's Tommy in the back row -3rd from left next to Glenn in the center.

And while I was in Photobucket, I went ahead and grabbed a copy of this. I agree that Glenn looks a lot happier in most of the pictures you see of him and Cindy than he did with Janie. Guess that explains why Cindy is still Mrs. Frey and Janie is plaintifl.

Thanks for pointing out Tom Nixon in those pics, Dreamer. I've seen these pics before but didn't know who anyone was except Glenn. In my dream, Tom was just some random guy with graying hair and glasses dressed in a suit. Still, I somehow knew who he was.

I did the one with Tommy in the background but WE as Dreamer said, he's behind Glenn; he isn't the guy wearing glasses. There's that tie again! SIGH.
