While we're in a doggy mood, I'm going to show off Jake (my sister's dog) a little bit more. She sent me a DVD of photos the other week and I thought you might like to see them!

Z-Hey Stranger! It seems Ditka has been letting Gracie into the pool when I haven't been around. By now, they're old pros.

I was against the whole pool thing. It's an above ground pool with the standard issue ladder as the only way of getting out.

Sure, it's easy for the dogs to get in-but one of the men of the house needs to be around to lift them out. I can't do it by myself.

We have a deck with a gate so I've preached and ordered that the gate remain closed at all times so we don't find a dog in the pool when they're not supposed to be in.

For the record, Zoe has gone in once. She wasn't thrilled.

Love all the doggy pics everyone. I need to get on it and get some new updated pics of Rufus on here. He is looking pretty darn healthy now days! He is just such a great dog. So thankful he made it thru everything and has become such a great part of our little bunch here.

Troub, Jake is gorgeous. But I need to ask - he looks like a totally different dog between photos 2 and 3 - where did the brown coloring go? (Probably another question for EV.)
