Well, we didn't get Lia Sophia (whose name would have been changed to Maggie Mae or Breeze -ie. They Call Me the Breeze), but I'm sure she went to a loving "forever home".

I submitted an application with the labrador organization anyway, and we're waiting to hear if we've been "accepted". If we have, they'll come out and do an in home inspection before they'll consider us for adoption. !!

I hope it's a dog we end up with not a child!

Even our mail carrier has gotten in the act. She found out we lost Layla and today she stuck a handwritten note in our mail telling us about a friend of hers whose dog just had a litter of puppies! Not sure I want a brand new puppy, tho.

Everyone on here has such cute pets! I've been meaning to post on this thread for such a long time, but I never have the pictures ready.

Molly-- Good luck with the labrador organization. I've gone through a couple of things like that and have had very good outcomes.

This is one of my babies, Hunter. A few years ago, a co-worker of mine was having to get rid of her young cat due to her starting a family. She was worried that the cat wasn't going to get enough attention. Well, all she had to do was show me a picture of him and I was a goner. He was so small when first I got him that used to call him my Little Hunter, but that name isn't quite as accurate now that he is weighing in at 20 pounds This is him on his favorite lounge spot. I usually keep decorative pillows on top of the ottoman, but the spoiled brat knocks them off every time



I have a couple more cats and a golden retriever, but I'll have to get those pictures up a little later.

Mel, he is pretty. 20 pounds?! That is a big cat!

My cat Beyonce had weighed 15 pounds, but when she went in to the vet for her check up she weighed just under 14 pounds, so they praised her for losing a pound! She stays outdoors mostly in the summer, so I guess she gets more exercise.

LM, it looks like you've got yourself a good dog there.

Brooke, it's always nice to see pictures of Beyonce, old or new. She looks ferocious there!

MR, Hunter is very handsome. I'd just like to reach in and pet him!
