GL, Katie looks like she has unusual markings - her face is adorable!

A pastel calico (or a dilute calico)--very pretty!

Thanks EV. What kind of calico is my Gracie?

I'm not Eva, but I'm pretty sure I know the answer to your question:
Gracie is of the Felineicus Ferocious Cuticus in the Animal Kingdon Pet Phylum.

Agreeing with Mike here, but also trying to get a better idea of her exact coloring. The window light, although lovely, is making it difficult for me to tell. Is she black/orange on her body, and grey/lighter orange on her head? Or are the spots the same color in both places?

The spots are same color in both places - gray and orange. Thus the name Gray-cee (Gracie) Just kidding - we didn't even think about that until after we had named her!

Then she's be the same as Katie, a pastel calico...which is the "dilute" version of the traditional calico, where the black/bright orange gene gets diluted to a grey/pale orange. I like the term pastel better.
