ACL Music Festival 2010

I'm packing right now. I hit Mississippi tonight, which is a 4 hour drive. There, I'll pick up my Mississippian friend who is going to accompany me to see the Eagles - it's her first time to go to an Eagles concert. Then, early tomorrow morning, it's off to Austin to my sister's place (9 hours). Of course, the show is on Sunday, then on Monday I do it all again since I have to be in Memphis to teach my class at 6:00 pm.

It's a pretty brutal pace - but anything for the Eagles!

Forgot to mention..."Band Of Heathens" is playing at ACL this go-round. I don't know if they are through with their spot or not, but if you hear them announced, give them a LISTEN. They are the most fantastic "new" band I've heard. Sort of a cross between Blues, Cajun, Rock and Country....sound a little familiar? *G*
