Thanks guys! All is well with the babies. Elliot is 6lbs 3oz and Felix is a little smaller, at 5lbs 9oz. Both healthy, both blondies! I'm going to see them tomorrow and I can't WAIT.

That all adds up to a LOT of BABIES! I'll bet she sure is glad to be a Mom not and not a Prospective Mom!

We drove down to the hospital today to see my cousin and the babies. The weather has been beautiful - incredibly hot - and the countryside looked beautiful. The drive was well over two hours there, and two hours back, but it was lovely to spend some time with my grandparents. We had lunch with my aunt and Matilda (the twins' 3 year old sister), who enjoyed telling us all about Felix and Elliot. Apparently they were "fidgety" last night. LOL.

The babies are absolutely beautiful. I had a long cuddle with both of them, and I was in my element! Here's a couple of pics for you. This is Felix (left, in the stars outfit) and Elliot (on the right, in the green.)



And this is me with Felix. So frickin' adorable! (See that cake behind me, next to the Ribena? My cousin kindly donated a few slices to us for the journey home. Best carrot cake I've EVER had!)



I really appreciate all your good wishes and positive thoughts. Kate is doing remarkably well, as are the twins. We're a very lucky family today!

Awwww Thanks for the positive vibes, Cami, PM, Koala, Brooke and Lou! At present my uncle is 'stable' and alert. He is not eating though. We can only wait and see what happend over the next while.

Lou, Congrats again to your cousin. Its great that everything went so well. I know all your family are thrilled, and the babies look like two precious angels. Have you inducted them to the Eagles 'Baby Lullaby's' cd yet? . Thats a gorgeous pic of you with Felix as well. Glad you enjoyed the carrot cake.

Thanks for the lovely compliments of my pics as well. They are pretty amateur but I would really like to get going seriously on the photography if I can. And YES PM, I hope that the boys make it back again purely so that I can photograph them!! Lol!
