You're not grossing me out Austin. But this DOES need to be sorted. Its ridiculous that in the 21st Century it cannot be done more efficiently. Surely if you DO go to A&E they will have to see you regardless.

Good luck if you decide to go.

You have to go back to a younger son of George III, Adolphus, for the last Duke of Cambridge. Also if they hadn't been given a title she would have had to be called Princess William of Wales.
I was just reading up on this today. Apparently Edward declined to be made Duke of Cambridge as was the Queen's intent at the time of his marriage and instead asked her to be titled Earl of Wessex. He will eventually become a Duke however, taking the title of Duke of Edinburgh upon the death of his father.

Austin, with that rash as you are describing it, a trip to the Emergency room seems appropriate. Something like that can become infected easily and then you'll have even more to deal with. The ER physician can treat the immediate problem at hand (the rash) and give you a referral to the physician that you need to see.

I would take that specialists name and phone number to the ER with me t give to the ER doctor. Not promising anything, but the ER physician's referral and the medical record from the ER may expedite you being seen by the specialist sooner.

    Good luck!

Is that right? Thanks for the information. I think that's entirely appropriate given that York is reserved for Prince Harry (who obviously has to wait until his uncle Andrew dies).

Sorry but I'm very interested in this stuff.

It intrigues me too Julie... I am an admitted Anglophile... I had no idea about York being reserved for Harry. I am assuming York must be traditionally given to the second son of the monarch? Andrew is a relatively young man at only 50 and with as long lived as many of the Windsors seem to be it could be many long years before Harry becomes a Duke... Very interesting.

You got it in one; the Duke of York is the monarch's second son.

And the title isn't always in use. So Harry may be given a different duchy when he marries (e.g. Sussex), since Andrew will probably still be alive.

That would leave York available in future, e.g. if William has a couple of boys.

WF, I hope you are getting your rash taken care of, or that it's healing on its own.

Troub, congratulations on getting a spot in a school. I'm sure they'll see what a fabulous teacher you are and hire you straight away!

Just an update - I just got off the phone and I got an appointment in Peoria tomorrow! I'm glad. Now maybe they can figure this out once and for all...
